The Makos are looking for Junior Assistant Coaches (JACs) for the upcoming summer 2026 swim season. Ideal candidates should have a love of swimming and be a role model to younger swimmers in and out of the water. A limited number of positions are available. Selected candidates will learn through experience how to perform as a JAC and develop critical coaching and leadership skills. Requirements:

• Must be at least 16 years old as of May 31, 2026
• Must be registered as an active swimmer on the Makos Swim Team for 2026
• Must have an active lifeguard certification or be willing to get certified before the start of the season.

Previous Makos coaching experience (paid or volunteer) is desired, but not required.
